The 2008 Iditarod Race begins March 1, 2008!

Are you ready to race across Alaska on March 1st? This year, teams of mushers and their dogs will race 1,251 miles across the Alaskan wilderness. Begin your race for knowledge as you explore one of these four topics about the Iditarod. Each person on your team should write one paragraph that includes facts that you think everyone should know about the Iditarod. These questions will help you get started. You will use your Iditarod Exploration Card to share what you have learned with other members on your team.
